Update (21st April 2018) for Wheels of Yesteryear, Sunday 1st July 2018

We have had a superb response this year to Wheels of Yesteryear. Due to space restrictions at the venues we are no longer accepting new entries to Wheels of Yesteryear 2018, with the exception of Veteran, Vintage, and two-wheeler (cycle and motorcycle) classes where we can still accept a limited number.

Entries can still be submitted Online for all classes, and if any space becomes available this will be allocated on first come basis.

The vehicle display at Lennoxlove House will be open to the public from 14:00 until 16:00 on Sunday 1st July 2018, by kind permission of His Grace the Duke of Hamilton who is hosting Wheels of Yesteryear 2018 at Lennoxlove House.

The route details will be given out on the day, with different country routes for light vehicles and motor cycles, and another route more suited to the commercials. Cycles start from a site within the Lennoxlove estate.

Full catering will be available at the start, and coffee/tea will be available at Glenkinchie. Coffee/tea, filled rolls etc. will be available from the marquee on the lawn at Lennoxlove House. Permanent toilet facilities including disabled access toilets, are located at all venues. Judging will be done at Lennoxlove House, and the judges will fully take into account that vehicles have been driven on the run, with no marks deducted for this.

Please arrive at the National Mining Museum Scotland to register by 9:45am as vehicles will be departing from 10:30 am. If you need space for unloading a large vehicle, it would be useful for us to know in advance to arrange the area. Fuel is available at Tesco, 2 miles north, and Shell 1/2 mile to the South, both on the A7.

Please remember that we are organising this event at our own expense as we will not be able to charge the public for viewing, and we are dependent on the goodwill of these venues to be able to have a Run at all. Please do not contact the National Mining Museum Scotland, Glenkinchie, or Lennoxlove House directly about this event as they will not have information.

IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR 2018: We expect a good range of vehicles on the day, but we have a cap on entry numbers and regrettably may need to decline some entries. The number of vehicles is limited by the capacity of the venues, so please only register for this run if you intend to turn up. We appreciate that circumstances can change, as long as you let us know in advance that you are no longer able to come this is not a problem.

Entries close on 10th June 2018. Numbers are subject to space, and late entries will not be accepted
